A digital factory division of a UK leading electrical business has commissioned MCP to deliver the four-part ‘Mechanical to Electrical’ training programme.
MCP’s Mechanical to Electrical Programme is the UK’s leading City & Guilds accredited 16-day programme and is designed for technicians who have no previous electrical background. Offered across 4 parts, each part consists of a 4-day programme.
Unique in the market, it is specifically structured to aid technicians progression and allows for suitable on-site consolidation of training prior to delivery of the next part. In addition, it assists the maintenance manager in meeting the legal requirements for employee competence in electrical work.
The digital factory division provides a comprehensive portfolio of hardware and software products that enable the integration of data from development, production and suppliers. Their goal is to enable the complete digital representation of the entire physical value chain.
The photographs below show the first day of the Mechanical to Electrical – Part 1. The delegates attendance will extend their knowledge enabling them to perform high frequency, low risk, first-line electrical maintenance tasks including safe isolation, replacement and testing of a range of common electrical devices including motors, sensors, contactors, overloads, etc. in a safe and effective manner.
