This week MCP’s Trainer, Matthew Reason, was at the Lucozade Ribena Suntory Coleford site delivering our very successful Mechanical to Electrical Programme (Part 1). Lucozade Ribena Suntory (LRS), home to two of the UK’s best loved soft drinks brands – Lucozade and Ribena.
Part of the Suntory Group – it is also one of the most innovative food and drink companies in the world. Founded in 1899, Suntory now employs more than 42,000 people across the globe through its 337 holding companies. Lucozade Ribena Suntory is based across three locations: London, Dublin and Coleford (in the Forest of Dean).
This 4-day programme is designed for technicians who have no previous electrical background, to enable them to perform high frequency, low risk, first-line electrical maintenance tasks including safe isolation, replacement and testing of a range of common electrical devices (motors, sensors, contactors, overloads, etc.) in a safe and effective manner.
This 16-day programme is City and Guilds accredited is offered across 4 parts, each part consisting of a 4-day programme. This is specifically structured to aid technicians progression and allows for suitable on-site consolidation of training prior to delivery of the next part. In addition, it assists the maintenance manager in meeting the legal requirements for employee competence in electrical work.
