MCP appears in the 2016 Queens Awards for Enterprise Magazine. This is the annual publication showcasing the winners of the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise each year.
The Queens Awards for Enterprise have been operating in various forms since 1966, developing over the years into the current format comprising three categories: International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
The corporate Awards were originally instituted by Royal Warrant following the recommendations of a Committee chaired by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. Her Majesty The Queen makes the Awards on the advice of the Prien Minister, who is assisted by an Advisory Committee that includes representatives of Government, industry and commerce, and the trade unions. They have announced annually on 21 April, The Queen’s birthday.
